Fulfillment Assembly Requirements

These Additional Terms govern your use of the Services and are incorporated by reference into the Beeline Connect General Terms of Service ("General Terms") located at beelineconnect.com/programterms (these Additional Terms and the General Terms are collectively referred to as this “Agreement”). Capitalized items not defined here have the same meaning as defined in the General Terms.
Beeline Fulfillment Retailer shall provide all Products fully and properly assembled in accordance with all applicable warnings and assembly instructions and best industry standards. Best industry standards shall include, but is not limited to, the checklist below. For clarification, some sections include specific items that are considered additional work and a Claim may be submitted for additional labor required.

Frame and parts
- All bolts torqued to manufacturer’s specifications
- Inspect for cosmetic defects or structural flaws
- Reflectors installed

Additional work includes
- Aligning dropouts
- Reaming seat tube for seat post
- Tapping water bottle, rack and/or fender mounts

Wheels
- Check wheels dished to ±3mm (as needed)
- True wheels to ±3mm radial deviation
- True wheels to ±1mm lateral deviation
- Check tension of all spokes
- Tires inflated to pressure specified on sidewall
- Cassette lock ring tightened
- Adding tubeless sealant

Additional work includes
- Wheel dishing
- Hub bearing adjustment
- Spoke/nipple replacement
- Wheel truing requiring tire removal

Brakes – Rim Brakes
- Mounting bolts correctly torqued
- Pads do not rub, touch tires, or cause drag
- Front and rear engage evenly and levers have same pull
- Barrel adjusters have minimum of 50% range remaining
- Additional work includes
- Replacing cable or housing

Brakes – Disc Brakes
- Caliper mounting hardware correctly torqued
- Rotor mounting hardware correctly torqued
- True rotor to ±0.1mm deviation
- Rotor centered between pads
- Front and rear engage evenly and levers have same pull

Additional work includes
- Facing mount for proper alignment
- Brake bleed

Shifting
- Cables pre-stretched, housing end pre-settled
- Electronic shifting, battery charged to minimum 60%
- Set H limit, L limit and B tension
- Straighten derailleur hanger
- Shift indexing adjusted
- Barrel adjusters have minimum 50% range remaining

Additional work includes
- Replacing kinked housing or damaged cable
- Replacing derailleur hanger (if bent more than 15 degrees)

Cockpit
- Stem and handlebar are in alignment with front wheel
- Headset bearing preload adjusted
- Levers and shifters are set up evenly with each other and at same angle
- Stem/handlebar bolts appropriately torqued and pass twist/slip test
- Wrap handlebars on drop bar models

Suspension
- Suspension cycles through travel
- Lockout function tested as applicable
- Air springs set for rider’s weight

E-bike Electronics and Battery
- E-bike battery charged to minimum 60%
- Verify e-bike function works as intended, includes throttle function
- Electronic display working and at appropriate angle
- Front and rear lights work as applicable

Additional work includes
- Replacing wiring harness, throttle, control unit, display unit, or battery tray

Test Ride
- Check shifting function
- Check brake function
- Bed in disc brake rotors and pads

Provide Rider With
- Set seat post height
- Brief tutorial on shifting and braking function
- Brief tutorial on turning on/off and e-bike functionality
- Owner’s Manual, included tools, charger as applicable, any uninstalled accessories, and any keys

Accessory Installation – Charge Rider Directly
- Adding or installing accessories is not considered to be part of normal bicycle assembly and should be charged to the Rider directly as an accessory installation with Rider’s pre-approval on cost to perform service
- Accessories include, but are not limited to:
- Installing Tire Liners
- Taping rims for tubeless setup (different from adding sealant)
- Child seat installation
- Rack installation
- Component swap out
- Exception. EXCEPT TO THE EXTENT OF SET FORTH ABOVE IN THESE TERMS, AND NOTWITHSTANDING ANY PROVISION TO THE CONTRARY CONTAINED IN ANY FULFILLMENT PROCESS, ON-LINE OR MOBILE MEDIA, OR OTHER STATEMENT OR INSTRUMENT, BEELINE MAKES NO REPRESENTATION, WARRANTY OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, WITH RESPECT TO THE AUTHORIZED PRODUCTS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
- Limitation. Without in any manner limiting any other limitations set forth herein or in the documents and agreements entered into between Beeline Fulfillment Retailer and Beeline, Beeline disclaims any and all liability arising from or related to statements, representations, warranties, promises or guarantees of Beeline Fulfillment Retailer or any of its Representatives or affiliates made to any retail purchasers or other persons or entities, including, but not limited to, any such statements, representations, warranties, promises or guarantees that the Products are suitable for any particular use, purpose or application. In addition, any warranty offered by Beeline Fulfillment Retailer that is in addition to or different from the foregoing provisions of these terms shall not be binding upon Beeline, and shall be the sole responsibility of Beeline Fulfillment Retailer and shall clearly and conspicuously state that such warranty is Beeline Fulfillment Retailer’s warranty only.
